Hi, my name is Steve Hemming and I have been making Handmade Leather Watch Straps since 2009, everything I make from leather is made just how it was years ago using traditional tools and techniques, I was taught by the famous Valerie Michael and Neil MacGregor from the Gloucestershire Guild of Craftsmen in the UK.

Each leather watch strap is cut by hand from high quality mainly British Veg Tanned hides (some are Italian). The Strap is then glued together using only the best bookbinders glue, the holes for stitching are created using a diamond tipped awl, They are stitched using Irish linen thread, the stitched style is a traditional saddle stitch, making it very durable indeed, the edges are then burnished leaving it perfect for a long life on your watch. Each strap is made total by hand, no sewing machines at all.

Each strap will be slightly different due to the nature of Veg Tanned leather, often having characteristics, such as wrinkles, scratches, and other imperfections that are considered positive features that add to its aged appearance. We often make straps from Vintage leather ammo pouches etc, those are very unique indeed and look great on many military style watches, like Panerai, Britling,. Bell and Ross, Bremont

I also handmade other leather items which you can see http://www.zero-leather.com/

Zero Strap/Zero Leather is a small private studio, if it can be made from veg tanned leather we'll try to make it.

Most standard Straps are priced at approx £75 + postage, for a full quotation please email: steve(dot)hemming@mac(dot)com
